This week has been almost ideal. The sun has shined for most of it so far. I've been extending the length of time between waterings and have found that the EarthBox doesn't use all that much when you think about it. That might change a little as they plants get bigger but even so, it's not taking as much as if they were planted in the ground.
I also need to consider what kind of trellis to get for my cucumber plants once they're big enough.

Like the site, thanks! I agree. I use much less water in my self-watering containers than I would if the plants were in the ground. It hasn't rained here, so I'm using more water than anticipated, though. Praying for rain...
